Activities at St Matthew's Church

St James’ Church accommodates a number of activities, detailed below.

• Scouting – Mondays 6:15pm to 7:45pm
• Sunshine Gang Craft Club – Wednesdays 4pm to 5pm

Scouts

The 211th Scout Group meets at St. Matthew’s Church Hall on Monday evenings from 6:15pm to 7:45pm. We have places for boys and girls in all sections:

• Beavers (6-8yrs)
• Cubs (8-10yrs)
• Scouts (10-14yrs)
• Explorers (14-16yrs).

We have fun, play games, go out on trips, camping, swimming. We also can earn badges by learning doing our best to take up challenges, helping in the community and the church, by joining in their activities, services and Big Breakfast .

Sunshine Gang Craft Club

The craft club is a fantastic after-school activity for children. It meets each Wednesday in St Matthew’s Church Hall from 4.00 – 5.00 pm.

As well as the Wednesday term-time activities, there are also regular special activities and outings during the school holidays.
