Abseiling (2004)
In November 2000, over 60 brave people abseiled down the church tower to raise funds to send the Aston Community Youth Project on an expedition to Africa. Again in June 2004, more brave people abseiled the tower. These are some of the pictures from that great day.

Baptism font (Aug 2007 - March 2009 / Feb 2010)
In August 2007 after a great deal of deliberation, it was decided that a new baptistry font should be built. Since it was completed, several baptisms have taken place in it. Definitely an asset to the church. The split in ending dates were the date it was completed and the day that the last leak was completed.

The traditional Easter Saturday carwash was held on March 22nd. It is the church\'s gift to the community. Jesus washed his disciples feet , we wash the communities cars. There was a Villa home game in the afternoon so the car wash was held in the morning and there was a presentation of The Passion in the afternoon for Villa supporters.

Somme Sunday (2004)
Every year, on the first Sunday in July, members of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment Association join us to recall the sacrifice of many local men who died on the first day of the Battle of the Somme on 1st July 1916. In 2004, the Cenotaph in Aston Parish Churchyard had been restored and many of the veterans stayed for lunch to mark the occasion.

Tent Worship (2005)
The Israelites spent many years worshiping God in tents, so it was natural and, indeed, wonderful when we decided to do this ourselves. This event was in the planning for nearly twelve years. Now, all the Aston Churches have an opportunity to worship together. Here are the photos of this amazing event.
